Our health and wellbeing strategy is all about the steps we're taking and the steps we will take, to make sure everyone goes home safe and well each and every day.
Mental health problems affect one in four of us yet people are still afraid to talk about it. For people with mental health problems not being able to talk about it can be one of the worst parts of the illness. So by getting people talking about mental health we can break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and take the stigma out of something that affects us all.
Work-related stress is how you feel when you have demands at work that exceed your ability to cope. Almost 12 million working days are lost each year because of perceived work-related stress, and stress can contribute to such conditions as anxiety or depression.
